Definitely. At the hotel, there is a spa and golf. If you go into Goderich, which is a really pretty town set along Lake Huron, there is shopping, hanging out and watching the sunset. Absolutely not! It is a historic and beautiful old bridge, but we want you to come to our wedding and enjoy yourself. There is no seating at the bridge, so if you want to skip that...no worries! https://cchbia.ca/balls-bridge

We are keeping it low key as we want you to be free to relax and enjoy the area as much as we do. Friday night is a light reception, which will leave you time to have dinner on your own. Saturday at 3:45 is our ceremony at the bridge. The cocktail reception is Saturday at 4:30 followed by seated dinner at 5:30pm. Then mingling, dancing and frivolity until 10 or 11 or ? Sunday - if you booked your room at the hotel, using Thelen/Read Wedding to book your room will include breakfast which will be on your own. This way you can relax and feel refreshed.

Unfortunately no. Pete recommends hitch-hiking as it is only 5 miles away...but I would leave early if you choose that option as not many cars pass by! Drive your car or rideshare with a friend you just met!
